And staining and gluing…

Until the octagonal corner was finished.

Got about this far when I placed the rug on top, so my little helper could see the final effect before going to bed.

Then, after he left, I finished the entire floor (although I left the final piece for my little helper to stain and glue in tomorrow morning, as promised…) There is one mistake in the floor pattern, but it’s hard to find and it will be under the rug anyway…

So here’s the sitting room with the floor completed:
