After some tinkering with color and size, I printed out the dado tiles for the bathroom and glued them in.
Which means the two rooms on this side are on their way to looking like rooms (the ceilings are obviously not glued on yet)…
(I think the dog must have sniffed something out in the laundry basket.)
And which means this side of the house is getting quite colorful…
Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier that I got the most beautiful vase full of tiny tulips in the mail…
And for now…good night.
This are shaping nicely in the bathroom, that tile is awesome; I’m looking for some like that. So far not much luck, but then I’m looking for antique which is a long-shot.
Glad you noticed what the dog was getting into; he was headed for mischief!
These are all delft tiles…I found most of them on this site that makes reproduction tiles: http://www.villalagoontile.com/delft-coastal-shell-corner-tile.html
They also sell old delft tiles: http://www.antieketegels.nl/delftsetegels.htm
Not sure if that will help any…maybe you’ll have to stop by Holland when you’re in France! 😉
Oh, and I’m pretty sure the dog dropped his bone in that laundry basket! (Actually, I just randomly put him there while I was gluing the dado so he’d be out of the way…then I noticed how perfectly placed he was…)
